From the Wade Nursery Favorites or Favourites series. Figures in this series were issued from 1972 to 1981 and depict large nursery rhyme and storybook characters. These figures are similar to the miniature figures issued as premiums in Red Rose tea but are larger and measure between 65mm and 75mm tall and carry the embossed backstamp of Wade England.
