Edwardian Shell Cameo with Seed Pearl Frame

I'm really guessing at the age on this one, but I think I'm pretty close. Open back frame appears to be gold plated or filled. Safety catch may have been a later addition, but was done cleanly and professionally (no solder globs!) Pin stem extends slightly beyond edge of piece, but not as far as most Victorian items that I've had. Loop that holds the safety chain might also be useable for a light chain to wear this as a necklace, as it's well centered at the top of the frame. Pearls are probably faux, as some of them appear to be skinned and the glass bead underneath is visible. Still a lovely vintage piece in spite of it's flaws. Measures approx 1 3/8 inches x 1 1/8 inches
