Shell Cameo Pin Pendant with Marcasites in Frame

Lovely well carved cameo, probably early to mid twentieth century, showing a woman with upswept hair. Cameo is prong set into a frame accented by 20 tiny marcasite stones in groups of 5. Frame may be silver, but is not marked in any way. Simple and elegant to wear as a pin or slip your favorite chain through the attached loop to wear as a pendant. Measures approx. 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
