Stunning Art Deco Dress Clip - Red Stones

This little treasure just about jumped into my hands when I saw it. Edged and crowned with clear baguette rhinestones and filled with 14 oval imitation ruby unfoiled stones that sparkle like mad. Beautifully cast and plated, probably rhodium plated, with the thin clip popular in continental Europe. No markings to indicate maker, material or place of origin, but we think it's probably French. Not a huge piece at approximately 1 1/4" x 1 3/8", but with ten foot tall presence! Please note: cameras and screens are funny sometimes about red tones. Glass stones resemble dark rubies more closely than garnets.
