Cascading Pin or Brooch - Damascene Leaves with Faux Pearls

Unusual damascene pin is accented with three faux (?) pearls down the center. No marks to indicate place of origin, but these are usually either from Spain or Japan (yes, really). This example has a simple c clasp, which makes me think it's older than most. Some minor discoloration on the back of one leaf, but otherwise in excellent vintage condition. Approximately 2 1/2 inches x 1 inch.
