Small advertising recipe leaflet or booklet issued by Bakers Chocolate. Near mint condition, showing almost no wear and very little sign of age in spite of being nearly 70 years old! Approximately 5 3/4" x 3 1/4". 14 pages. Quote from cover reads "This little booklet contains 14 "sample" recipes, selected from Baker's magnificent and new 64-page book of Famous Chocolate Recipes." Instructions were given on the back cover for obtaining this larger version for the outrageous price of a whole 10 cents! Recipes in this litte gem include Chocolate Fudge Cake with Mocha Frosting, Hungarian Chocolate Frosting, Brownies, Chocolate Cream Pie, Chocolate Fudge and more! Personally, though, I think the very best part of the book is the bright and absolutely beautiful graphic illustration of Baker's Chocolate inside the front cover!
